Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Set against the backdrop of the Cold War, the film follows the unlikely romance between a stern Soviet pilot and an eccentric American Air Force officer.
Katharine Hepburn portrays Captain Vinka Kovelenko, a no-nonsense Soviet pilot who is hailed as a hero in her homeland for her flying skills. Bob Hope stars as Major Chuck Lockwood, an American Air Force officer tasked with convincing Vinka to defect to the West and share her knowledge of Soviet aviation technology.
As Chuck and Vinka find themselves thrust together on a series of misadventures, they must overcome their ideological differences and cultural misunderstandings to forge a bond of friendship and, ultimately, romance. Along the way, they encounter a colorful cast of characters, including a bumbling British diplomat and a scheming Soviet age...
